Compute, classify, and calculate the fundamental aspects of the financial recordkeeping, including recording financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, payroll and reconciling bank statements and posting transactions.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
  • Responsible for general accounting, Trial balance and bookkeeping
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Administer all payroll related tasks and reporting including employee benefits
  • Process and reconcile travel expense reports
  • Process payments and reports to tax authorities including (Sales Tax, etc.)
  • Basic treasury functions including bank reconciliations
  • Implements and maintains accounting systems, procedures and policies
  • Organize and coordinate office administration, point person for maintenance and supplies
  • Works independently under general requirements definition and uses professional concepts to work on routine tasks of average difficulty and complexity level

Qualification requirements:

  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) from 2 year college or technical school; Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) preferred
  • 3-5 years related experience
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills; high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Experience with ERP systems, NetSuite advantage
